Salmon Factory Worker
The role
We are hiring Production Workers for a leading salmon and cod processing factory that has been supplying international markets such as Australia, Sweden, Germany, and Denmark since 2010. The factory operates with modern machinery and offers a clean, temperature-controlled environment with structured shifts and accommodation nearby. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with B1–B2 English level, who are motivated, adaptable, and looking to join a growing company in the seafood processing industry.
What are we looking for
- Communicative English (B1–B2 level);
- Physically fit and comfortable working in 12–15°C;
- Able to work with raw fish and seafood;
- Open to rotating shift patterns;
- Detail-oriented and ready to follow food hygiene protocols;
- Willingness to support cleaning duties as part of daily tasks.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in fish processing or food production;
- Familiarity with weighing, packaging, or labeling procedures;
- Comfort using basic machinery.
Your responsibilities
Packaging fish fillets (mainly salmon and cod);
Preparing fish for smoking and filleting;
Cutting and portioning fish fillets;
Removing parts such as fish heads;
Weighing and labeling packaged products;
Assisting in the preparation and cleaning of workstations;
Washing containers and ensuring cleanliness of the production area.
Tasks may vary depending on the assigned section of the factory.
Your benefits
Attractive hourly wage:
- 30.50 PLN gross/hour;
Shift schedule:
- Morning: 6:00–15:30
- Evening: 16:00–2:00
- Avg. 200–220 hours/month;
- Production line: 2 days morning / 2 days evening / 2 days off;
- Smoking section: 1 week morning / 1 week evening;
Breaks:
- 15 to 30 minutes depending on shift duration;
Work environment:
- Controlled temperature 12–15°C;
- Majority of operations are machine-assisted;
Accommodation:
- Provided at 500 PLN/month;
- Located within 15–20 minutes walking distance;
Workwear:
- Full protective clothing, shoes, and headgear provided;
Cafeteria access:
- Space equipped with microwaves, kettles, refrigerators;
- Vending machines with snacks and beverages available;
- Lunch must be brought from home;
- Stable long-term employment in a respected international production facility.
