Meat Factory Worker
The role
We are looking for Production Workers to join a well-established meat delicacy and sausage factory specializing in premium beef products. This opportunity is open to men and women up to 55 years old. The role involves hands-on tasks across various departments including meat processing, packaging, warehousing, and slaughter preparation. Work is performed in low-temperature environments, so warm clothing is essential. This role operates under a Contract of Mandate (Umowa zlecenie) and includes a free hot meal daily, with stable working hours and full support from an on-site leader.
What are we looking for
- Physically fit individuals up to 55 years of age;
- Comfortable working in cold environments (2°C–10°C);
- Willingness to perform physical tasks and stand for long periods;
- Basic understanding of hygiene and workplace safety standards;
- Flexibility to work in different departments based on factory needs.
Nice to have
- Experience in meat processing, warehouse work, or machine operation;
- Familiarity with production lines or packaging processes;
- Prior work in cold storage or food manufacturing settings.
Your responsibilities
Operating machines for minced meat production;
Packaging meat products, applying labels, placing items on pallets;
Cutting carcasses into parts (cutting department);
Assisting with animal handling and carcass hanging (slaughter department);
Warehouse duties in refrigerated areas – handling carcasses and stock;
Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in a standing, high-noise environment (90 dB);
No smoking or food allowed on-site.
Work assignments are determined by the supervisor and may rotate between departments.
Your benefits
Hourly rate:
- 30.50 PLN gross/hour;
Shift schedule:
- Day shifts only: 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00;
- No night shifts;
Breaks and meals:
- Free hot lunch daily (soup, sandwich, tea/coffee);
- Shifts over 10 hours receive 2 breaks and 2 meals;
Work environment:
- Temperature: 2°C to 10°C (cold microclimate);
- Standing work with noise (ear protection provided);
Workwear:
- Factory provides: light pants, shirts, aprons, caps, and footwear;
- Workers must bring warm personal clothing;
Onboarding costs:
- 200 PLN one-time deduction from first salary for medical exam & health book;
- 53 PLN/month for insurance;
Accommodation:
- Available at 400 PLN/month, near the workplace;
On-site support:
- A designated leader assists daily with any work-related needs.
