Fruit Sorter
The role
We are hiring Fruit Sorters to join a leading fresh produce processing facility in Poland. The role involves sorting and washing fresh fruits such as apples, berries, and citrus for domestic and international distribution. More experienced and high-performing workers may be assigned to freezer operations and packaging tasks in a low-temperature environment.
This is a great opportunity for individuals from India, Nepal, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka who are seeking long-term employment under an official Contract of Mandate (Umowa zlecenie) with full accommodation and support provided.
What are we looking for
- Nationality: India, Nepal, Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka;
- Communicative in English or Polish;
- Physically fit and able to work standing for long periods;
- Attention to detail for sorting fruits and checking quality;
- Open to working in low temperatures (freezer rooms for selected workers);
- Willingness to follow hygiene and safety protocols in food processing environments.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in food processing, sorting, or packaging;
- Familiarity with cold storage or freezer work conditions;
- Ability to work with production lines or manual washing equipment.
Your responsibilities
- Sorting fresh fruits by size, quality, and type;
- Washing fruits before packaging or further processing;
For experienced workers:
- Packaging fruits for shipment;
- Working in freezer environments with protective clothing;
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in workstations;
- Ensure accurate labeling and handling of produce.Language: English or Polish
Your benefits
Hourly rate:
- Starting from 28.00–30.50 PLN gross/hour, depending on task and experience;
Shift schedule:
- Rotating shifts or fixed day shifts depending on department;
- Approx. 200–240 hours/month;
- Work 5–6 days a week;
Breaks:
- At least 1 paid break per shift, longer shifts include an additional break;
Accommodation:
- Provided housing at 400–500 PLN/month, shared rooms (2–4 people);
- Wi-Fi, bedding, laundry, and kitchen amenities included;
Transportation:
- Free transport to and from the worksite;
- Protective clothing provided for freezer/packaging roles;
- Support in native language and ongoing assistance with legal and onboarding matters;
- Clean and organized facility, compliant with food safety regulations.
